Association's invited speakers reception
Selvis Morales, CMP tackled the menu for an international association's invited speaker reception for 250 attendees by bypassing the standard cheese and charcuterie style buffets the event had hosted in the past. Instead she refined the affair by working in tandem with the Vancouver Convention Centre's catering team to offer "bites" and chef stations throughout the open foyer space.
The in-house catering team in the convention center had green initiatives already in place which made it a breeze for Selvis to showcase local, seasonal and sustainable items to her guests. Needless to say, Vancouver's seafood bites were a hit!
